Marianne leaves Abel for Paul, his best friend and the father of her unborn child. Eight years later, Paul dies. An original and smart relationship drama about infidelity focusing mostly on the three main characters. Laetitia Casta, at 41, is very hot and Lily-Rose Depp, Johnny's daughter, is also good. It's quite blackly humorous, sarcastic and a bit odd, and thankfully very short. A strange film and definitely not typically French. 60%.

Louis Garrel serves the audience a rather banal love story in which he opens several thought-provoking relationship themes. The fundamental problem, however, is that the behavior and reactions of the individual characters in the more tense situations are hardly believable, as is the strangely amicable ending of the whole narrative.
