What a pity that this poor version will be preserved for future generations (because of the incredibly unconvincing Brousek, because Dvořák is too expressive for Salieri, because Uhlířová is overacting, because the unfortunate scene settings, because of the costumes, because of courtiers trying to be funny, because of excessive theatricality of everything and not just the character of Mozart; in addition, the sound direction of the recording, in which the audience can be heard more than the stage, i.e. each coughing drowns out the dialogs) and not, for example, Hřebejk's staging from the turn of the millennium from the Pod Palmovkou Theater with Langmajer and Bartoška.
