Lux – Warrior of Light

Lux - Warrior of Light is the story of a young man, heading out to do some good. But instead of changing the world, the world changes him. A documentary team follows the real-life Superhero Lux in his every day fight, trying to make the world a better place. But his social involvement turns out to be not that spectacular, making it hard for JAN, the director to find any kind of funding for his project. Finally, the producer Brandt explains his interest in the movie, but only if Jan would deliver more sensational material; wherever a Superhero comes up, a real Superhero must be there. Torsten Kachel, the shy man behind the mask, gets persuaded by his director to start concentrating more on fighting crime. Hoping to achieve his lifelong dream of becoming a real superhero, Lux starts to neglect his social involvements. (Berlinale)
