englanti A depressing and unpleasant from Slovenia! The protagonist is put in a very nasty situation, she has to decide between her newly born son and the man she loves sickly. Slovenia serves up a very dense psychological drama that isn't afraid of nudity and detailed childbirth, for which I give it a thumbs up, but the slower pace bothered me a bit. It's a bit artsy. Mothers will have a hard time with the film, so caution! 6/10. ()

englanti Such rawly urgent and strongly naturalistically portrayed film narratives are not often seen. From beginning to end, the viewer is accompanied by a oppressive feeling, evoked by the anticipation of what terrible thing will happen next. Maruša Majer undoubtedly deserves a great deal of credit for this, as she completely transformed into the role of a helpless and desperate first-time mother, delivering a deeply emotional performance. The script may be a bit overcomplicated, but otherwise, I don't have the slightest complaint. Searching my memory, I can't recall any other encounter with Slovenian cinema and I have to say that I chose very well the first time, as it was an extremely powerful experience. (85%) ()
