Thi Mai: Road to Vietman

After having lost her daughter in an accident, Carmen receives a letter informing her that she has finally been approved for the adoption of Thi Mai, a young Vietnamese girl. She decides to travel to Vietnam and complete the adoption together with two of her best friends, Elvira and Rosa, who have never set foot outside Spain. There, their lack of experience, the cultural shock, the maze of bureaucracy and their individual and peculiar quirks turn the trip into a series of misunderstandings, crazy situations and feverish decisions. Two men join them in their adventure: Dan, an unbending but noble Vietnamese guide, and Andrés, a young Spanish actor travelling to Hanoi to live with his partner.
