When I first tuned into the second series, I braced myself for potential disappointment considering Terry Pratchett's understandable yet concerning absence from its creation. Initially, my worries seemed unfounded, but soon enough, it felt like something went off the rails, and the show started pandering to political correctness, which I never encountered in Pratchett's work. I can only imagine Terry Pratchett rolling in his grave, deeply disappointed by the neglect of his trademark humor, which was gentle yet incisive. It's a profound letdown that taints the entire series. / Lesson learned: The new BBC is evil. 3*-
