The little that is known about Tutankhamun and his reign has been completely turned upside down by the filmmakers. Instead of a historical spectacle, a romantic adventure fairytale was created. If you are interested in such a spectacle, you may not be disappointed. In terms of craftsmanship, it is well made, and the result looks even more expensive than the money invested, which amounts to half a victory for the producer of such a film. Personally, I was bothered by the ubiquitous naivety and colorfulness and I gave up after watching just one episode. I do not like movies where appearance is more important than content.
