In the Dark

As expected, a solid crime story that doesn't shy away from difficult scenes. The case of the abducted girls is somewhat too formulaic in its detective work, where the identity of the culprit is almost the last thing that interested me. The London setting, on the other hand, is about something else entirely, and it is all the more interesting in its unreadability and stronger social subtext. MyAnna Buring has been the queen of emotions since Ripper Street, and she captivates all attention in both the escalating thriller and the vulnerable moments, where she once again becomes not just a closed-off police officer, but a pregnant woman dealing with numerous issues, whether she wants to or not.
