Season 1 (2018) (S01) 

englanti I wasn’t disappointed by Season 1, but I was particularly pleased either. I expected Matt Groening’s show to be funny (if not roll on the floor hilarious) from start to finish, but it wasn’t the case. Yes, some of the episodes were great, but others were rather awkward and only made me smile a couple of times or even bored me. Eventually, the positives outweighed the negatives and I’ll definitely watch the next season. ()

A Princess, an Elf, and a Demon Walk Into a Bar (2018) (S01E01) 

englanti I'll take it in order - the topic is great (a princess with a tendency for alcoholism and gambling, with a personal demon and a bonus elf), Matt Groening can't disappoint, some lines were really great, and I can recognize Matt Berry's voice from The IT Crowd anywhere, but... Everything I mentioned was fine, but the overall didn't work as I expected. The episode had some dull moments and I only laughed a few times, mostly I just smiled, and even that wasn't too often. I was hoping for a greater punchline. ()

For Whom the Pig Oinks (2018) (S01E02) 

englanti From the second episode, I actually have the exact same feeling as from the first one. It wasn't funny as a whole, there were only funny moments in it. The biggest problem I see is that the creators are not able to connect these moments, or at least multiply them. I think the series has the potential to entertain me for the whole episode, but for now, unfortunately, I sometimes get bored. ()

The Princess of Darkness (2018) (S01E03) 

englanti In my opinion, it was the funniest episode so far, which I enjoyed from the initial pursuit of the stolen carriage to the magmatic conclusion. Exactly what I was expecting and what I had been missing so far, I got this time. I had a great time, I laughed really often, so there it is. ()

Castle Party Massacre (2018) (S01E04) 

englanti So yes, compared to the previous episode that I praised, there has been further improvement and the mix of castle party with group sex in the catacombs worked for me. There wasn't a single dull moment this time either, and I had something to entertain myself with the whole time. Yeah, yeah, it was nice. ()

Faster, Princess! Kill! Kill! (2018) (S01E05) 

englanti "Blasphemers! How dare you bring logic into God's house?!" This sentence says it all, I was filled with joy. I suspected that I would greatly enjoy this episode, and I was not mistaken. The job search was and will continue to be among the best moments of the first season, and Hansel and Gretel...:-) ()

Swamp and Circumstance (2018) (S01E06) 

englanti After three great episodes, I didn't expect such a decline, but it happened. The story itself wasn't bad, but in terms of humor, it fell to the level of the first two parts. Occasionally, I smiled, but most of the time I was disappointed because the creators spoiled me in the previous episodes, and now it was like being on a diet... ()

Love's Tender Rampage (2018) (S01E07) 

englanti The episode had a decent start - drinking, a plague pit, and a drug frenzy. It was clear that demons, elves, and teenagers had quite a stamina even in the Middle Ages. However, the plot that followed didn't convince me too much. The humor gradually disappeared from it, and it wasn't as daring as I was looking forward to. ()

The Limits of Immortality (2018) (S01E08) 

englanti The plot of the eighth episode was packed with events and revolved around the Medallion of Eternity. It led to a kidnapping and the sending of a crusade, with King Zog not hesitating to cancel all other crusades until further notice (including the lemonade one!!!). The creators even showed me the edge of the world and came up with a conclusion that neither Indiana Jones nor Lara Croft would be ashamed of. ()

To Thine Own Elf Be True (2018) (S01E09) 

englanti This time I had a great time, the return to the Elven Forest pleased me, I'm just not sure why the creators didn't impress me like this the first time. Maybe it was because candies without the right dose of alcohol for entertainment are not enough, who knows? Defending those little sweet beings against invaders convinced me that the world is truly a dangerous place. ()

Dreamland Falls (2018) (S01E10) 

englanti The final episode of the first season didn't please me too much. I was expecting a much larger portion of humor, but the creators actually used the whole episode just to lure the viewers into the next series. However, I would watch it even without such hooking (or rather hooking) and would rather laugh more. ()
