Set in 1970's London, young Enn (Alex Sharp) heads to a party thrown by local punk Queen Boadicea (Nicole Kidman). While there, he meets foreign exchange student Zan (Elle Fanning) and immediately falls for her. However, when Enn discovers that Zan is actually an alien who has come to study Earth, he soon finds himself having to recruit Queen Boadicea and her followers in a desperate bid to save her from an uncertain fate.
