I'm not exactly a fan of stories where the dead return to the real world from the afterlife, but here I somehow managed to stomach it. Considering that the plot was not completely predictable, I quite liked the film. (60%)

You can not expect the American production The Keeping Hours to scare you in any way, although there are a couple of scenes that seem to come straight from a ghost movie. However, the relationship aspect is much more important here. I do not quite want to call it a love story, though even that would be valid. Lee Pace is an actor whose performances are enjoyable, and you can watch this because of him being in it. The same could be said of Carrie Conn, plus the child in the starring role is quite inoffensive.
