The Space Between

Thirty-five-year-old Marco is a talented chef who’s wasting away at a factory job in Northern Italy, only cooking on the side when his best friend Claudio instigates fabulous backyard gatherings. Tragedy throws Marco into a tailspin, and into the path of Olivia, an Australian just arrived in Udine to sell her late grandparents apartment. Olivia has her own cautious career hopes, and as romance slowly kindles between them they also fan the flames of their long-denied dreams. (Palm Springs International Film Festival)
