Nobody's Perfect

City mechanic Gerard (Gérard Depardieu), fed up with being used by his unfaithful wife and family, secretly escapes to a peaceful village of the French countryside to start a new life. Immediately welcomed with open arms by the villagers, he takes a room at the old inn run by eccentric and lovely Barbara (Catherine Deneuve).
