Youth a-Go-Go

The youth of Japan were restless. During the 1960s, thousands of demonstrators took to the streets to protest against the bilateral treaty, high school students were experiencing 'entrance examination hell', and the subways were overly packed during rush hours. Go-go music became an outlet for many. Kenichi (Ken Yamauchi) and Satoru (Mitsuo Hamada) join up with three other electric music lovers to form their own band, "The Young and Fresh." (Nikkatsu)
