englanti From the point of view of the quality of the script and direction, it is easily forgettable and unremarkable, and furthermore, let's not kid ourselves, also suitably idealized and even deceitful. However, what makes it interesting is the cast - the Schoberova girl is simply adorable, and both Jirka from Semafor are a cultural phenomenon of the 60s. Thanks to them, the film can be considered as a testimony of the era and the musical art of this duo, who were selling out theater performances six months in advance at that time... Overall impression: 40%. ()

englanti We Were Ten is one of those Czech films that must be viewed with a certain indulgent disdain. The turn of the 1950s and 1960s was marked by social changes, but the state cinema was still stuck in place. A little worried about what's coming, a little out of convenience. ()
