Clancy Street Boys

Muggs McGinnis (Leo Gorcey) finds out that his wealthy Uncle Pete (Noah Beery Sr.) is coming to town, and his mother had long ago told him she had seven children so he'd continue sending money for their fatherless family to live on. To keep up appearances, Muggs devises a comically complicated plot to enlist the East Side Kids as his impromptu siblings. With Glimpy (Huntz Hall) playing Muggs's fictional sister Annabelle, and explaining away Scruno's (Sammy "Sunshine" Morrison) dark skin by saying that he's adopted, Pete and his daughter Judy (Amelita Ward) fall for the trick until no-good George Mooney (Rick Vallin) lets the cat out of the bag. But after Pete is kidnapped and Muggs and his crew rescue him, all is rightly forgiven. (Echo Bridge Entertainment)
