The story of Wish Upon isn't downright bad, but the problem is its pacing. It's quite dull and I must admit that the individual deaths couldn't even excite me for a moment. It’s simply a film about a schoolgirl getting her wish, before she finds out that every wish granted has a price. It lacks atmosphere, it lacks suspense, it is generally presented in an overly cowardly way, and it’s quite boring at times. The thing is that there was a lot more that could have been done with the idea.
