englanti Tarek Boudali and Philippe Lacheau are on a rampage for the fourth time and it's great fun again. This time it's Boudali directing, and he hands it decently, but I find Lacheau more skilled (Babysitting and Alibi.com were better). But the idea is excellent again, not missing the classic dog and funny situations that entertain with their typical French humour. These two comedians are slowly building their own cinematic universe and I wish them well. I wonder what they will come up with next. 75%. ()

englanti I don't think I would ever watch this comedy again. Then again, it wasn’t exactly terrible either. I've already seen the premise in a Sandler film, and I’d say the French filmmakers did a slightly better job. It wasn’t exactly roll on the floor hilarious, but the scenes with Dussart or the mother cracked me up quite a bit. ()

englanti Marry Me, Dude is a rather oddly conceived probe into the lives of sexual minorities, marital fraud and a string of tangled lies, which is at times truly unfair and crass (definitely not for sensitive dog lovers without a sense of dark humour). Although you kind of know from the beginning where it's all going, the film does manage a few surprises. Yassin was frankly a jerk, and the boy should clarify what he wants – the main character could definitely have been more likeable. But on the other hand, the unstoppable Inspector Dussart and at times the howling Fred were amusing. Overall, this is a one-watch film – on repeat viewings the rating would probably go lower. ()
