The eighth episode solidified my view that the political and economic storyline is the most captivating aspect for me. As the creators began delving into the personal lives of individual characters, my interest started to wane. It's surprising — before this season, I never would've guessed that besides Wendt, Alfred Nyssen would emerge as the most intriguing character for me.
