Six Degrees of Murder

Each episode recounts the story of murder investigations that required law enforcement to untangle a complicated web of relationships in order to uncover the truth. Told from the point of view of those closest to each investigation, true crimes untangled this season include: a young mother who disappears without a trace when on the verge of a fresh start, leaving every person in her life a potential suspect; a beloved handyman whose violent killer turned out to be a sociopath that no one saw coming; and a college journalism major who is brutally murdered while researching a controversial article, forcing the police to sort through hundreds of suspects to find her killer.
