Matias and Jeronimo, who spent summers together as young adolescents in the Argentine wetlands of Esteros, were separated by a family move to Brazil just as their close friendship was blossoming into mutual attraction. When the two meet up again as adults, Matias has a girlfriend and is engaged to be married and Jeronimo is confident as an out gay man. The chemistry between the men is palpable and Matias begins to question his commitment to his girlfriend.
