This is exactly the kind of film you expect from India. It's modern, it's appealing, it's got a sense of scope and especially of color, it's got songs, and it's got a romantic storyline that's not simple and has to go through its own obstacles. In that regard, it's pretty average. However, it also has a social critique that slightly enlivens the film.
