onna Jensen (Gwyneth Paltrow) on pikkukaupungin tyttö, jonka haave lapsesta asti on ollut päästä pois Silver Springsistä. Lukiossa hän kuitenkin ihastuu ja alkaa tottua ajatukseen elämästä siellä. Koulun jälkeen ihatuksen kohde jättää hänet ja Donna masentuu.Sydänsuruja parannellessaan, Donna näkee TV:stä kirjamainoksen Sally Westonin kirjasta. Sally Weston on entinen lentoemäntä, joka on pärjännyt elämässä. Hän kehottaa lukijoitaan uskomaan itseensä, jolloin kaikki on mahdollista. Donna päättääkin ryhtyä lentoemännäksi paikalliseen halpalentoyhtiöön. Se ei ole kovin hohdokasta ja Donna päättää parin kollegansa kanssa hakea Royalty Airlinesin lentoemäntä-koulutukseen. Hän ja ystävä Christine (Christina Applegate) pääsevätkin sinne. Siinä ohessa Donna ihastuu entiseen lakiopiskelija Tediin, mutta joutuu eroamaan tästä lähtiessään opiskelemaan lentoemännäksi. Tämä tapahtuu erikoisen opettajan johdolla (Mike Myers).Vaikka Donna mielestään onnistuu loistavasti Loppukokeessa, hänet laitetaan töihin Royaltyn rupuhommiin: lähiliikenteeseen. Such a small and annoyingly sticky candy cane. It pleases us because Gwyneth can always be cute, because Ruffalo belongs in the golden fund of current heartthrobs, and because Myers should have a patent for his uncontrollable grimaces. However, it does not please us in the clouds. Anything related to airplanes, runways, flight attendants, or stewards is filled with the hope of little girls, to the point where it cannot be taken seriously. 50%

A calm and easygoing comedy. Although the story is simple and could be described as plain, it is delivered effectively and thanks to the two main actresses (Gwyneth Paltrow and Christina Applegate), and the good male acting duo, it made an impression on me.

I laughed, but at the naivety, the clichés and whether anyone could take this film seriously. Fortunately, it's quite bearable to watch thanks to Mark Ruffalo and Gwyneth Paltrow, but miracles come in other forms.

It's one of those romantic comedies with very weak or almost no humor (unless you're a fan of poor jokes about cross-eyed people - if you're making fun of such things, it should at least be very dark or even brutal humor). As for the romance, it was represented by a series of clichés. What I'd like to highlight is Christina Applegate in a swimsuit because it was one of the few moments when I smiled. And then, there was the first flight with Sierra Airlines. There's nothing better than a flight crew member who panics and desperately runs around the cabin while screaming: "We're all going to die!!". This was probably the most amusing moment of the whole movie for me. Otherwise, it was quite a snooze fest full of the clichés I mentioned earlier. I'm giving it two stars because I'm feeling benevolent. / Lesson learned: I'd rather keep my feet on the ground.
