The Japanese can be quite perverse, but this film is quite restrained even by their standards. Yes, there is sex, but censorship kills it. The only thing that can be appreciated is the spontaneity with which individual scenes unfold. I don't know what it is, but Japanese women are just beautiful. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean you'll enjoy this film.
