The Suffering is a film that layers one horror scene after another in a sequence that never seems to exhaust itself. I felt all along that it was more about the scenes than the overall story, which tries to be mysterious but is ultimately more of a film for effect. However, you might get excited about the film, because I'm sure it has some potential.
