englanti I recently saw this show where foreigners from different parts of the world rated Czech movies. Cosy Dens was the movie they criticized the most. They couldn’t understand the absurdity, the setting, the historic context with which people of those times had to live every day. In the end, they criticized it, saying that it was nonsense and that we should stop making movies set in the Communist era. If they knew that to a large extent European cinematography lives on the history of the individual countries, they probably couldn’t stop wondering. This movie is a case in point. Beautiful cinematography for which the Romanians managed to get almost half of Europe on board as co-producers and on top of that, a part of it takes place in our country. There’s no way we could dislike a movie like this, is there? ()
