It starts off pretty gritty. A loving father, who otherwise has problems mainly in his working life that lead to depression, is involved in an accident in which his son dies. His life is begins to change. From a screenwriting perspective, what follows is quite interesting, but still, you know how it has to end the whole time. And it does exactly that.
