The Cliff

Gabriel is a promising public prosecutor whose life is thrown into turmoil when he receives a call from the police. A sect has committed mass suicide in the Canary Islands and his younger sister, Cordelia, was one of its members. Her corpse hasn't been found. It's been years since Gabriel saw his sister: something happened between them and their lives took different paths. He sets out immediately for the island to learn for himself what has happened and help with the investigations. There he meets Helena, Cordelia's friend, a girl of strong personality and fragile emotions. She and Gabriel hit it off immediately, united in their desire to find Cordelia alive. Very soon Gabriel learns that his sister was seduced into joining "The Community" by the leader of the sect, a woman of enormous magnetism and dark origins. (San Sebastian International Film Festival)
