My first encounter with Pee-wee is rather awkward. I can't help it, but Paul Reubens at sixty-three looks weird as this crazy character, more like a puppet sitting on a ventriloquist's lap. Although there are funny moments, overall the character and the movie rather disappointed me than entertained me.
