How did Einstein come up with his grandest theories in physics? How did his thoughts connected to the most important scientific discoveries evolve? How did a young scientist become the icon of physics who we know today? The dramatized documentary, which was shot on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the publication of Einstein's theory of relativity, presents the scientist's visual mind experiments which made possible the birth of modern physics. The narration by the British actor David Tennant (Time Lord 2005–2010) provides insight into scientific observation and the definition of the relationship between time and space. Einstein foresaw the existence of gravitational waves. These are created by collisions of black holes and were scientifically discovered for the first time in 2016. Their monitoring was enabled by the LIGO detector. It will therefore be possible in the future to investigate the creation of the universe or the creation of black holes thanks to this significant discovery, which has become a decisive milestone of both the previous and the current century.
