A young libertine visits a remote castle and discovers to his horror that the infamous Count Dracula has been resurrected. Terrified villagers set fire to the castle, but a swarm of vengeful bats kills their women and children. Christopher Lee returns to his most famous role for the fifth time, and director Ward Baker creates the unprecedented shot of the Count scaling his castle walls. (StudioCanal UK)

"Scars of Dracula" is a film that portrays people's fears quite well and contrasts them with relatively entertaining scenes. This is something that must be acknowledged about the film: it successfully combines entertainment with horror, as there are quite good horror scenes here, although they are mostly focused on bloodiness rather than on the actual scare. With this installment, however, the creators did not miss the mark as much, and it remains very watchable.
