I really like Patrick Wilson, and I'm glad I discovered him through Watchmen. But even though he tries his best in A Kind of Murder, and even though the camera only reveals what intrigues us, the film ultimately proves to be empty, lacking that punch that would grab you and knock you out. It's a shame, as otherwise, it's well-stylized and well-acted.
