In the 1960s, the baroque hospital in Kuks was used as a retirement home. Shots of the old interiors are combined with images of the residents' faces, marked by life and experience. The music of Josef Suk alternates with the buzzing of flies. Poetic images of everyday life at the retirement home offer an unobtrusive juxtaposition of love and apathy.
