Still Dissolution

Photographs of the seaside area torn from the monotony of peacefulness as they start to melt and the watery surface in the picture seems to swell and roil. Four parallel shots undergo their own independent material transformation and the realistic image is engulfed in splotches and bubbles, while the flicker effect underscores the disturbance of the photograph's unchanging permanence as it develops its dramatic dissolution.
