A film for which nostalgia is undoubtedly the judge. In my childhood, the videocassette with this film was one of the most worn in our country, so even though the film does not have such exceptional qualities, I still have to give it an above-par rating, otherwise I would be hypocritically lying to myself.

Although naive, it is still a slightly more sympathetic and, with a wink, perhaps more believable film than some of the current Hollywood lemonade films like Eagle Eye and other awesome films. Moreover, WarGames is not about special effects, it's about atmosphere, and in several scenes (the opening, the ending) it's really remarkably well done.
