A wannabe historical and emotional film about how one Jewish family had a hard time in Iran when the regime change happened. Adrien Brody and Salma Hayek both come off as somewhat subdued; their performances aren't anything great, which ultimately reflects the overall picture of the film. You get the feeling it wanted to say something, but in the end, it didn't say anything.
