Beyond the Sky

Høyere enn himmelen is a film about friendship and love, unused and secret love. Mari is a sour and cross-girl of twelve years. She does not like her body, she does not like her family, she has no friends, she is unhappy with most of everythingt. Ms. Kjær is a teacher at the school where Mari goes. She is just as sour and angry as Mari. During the summer vacation though a friendship evolves between the two of them. Gradually the cause of Miss Kjær's quirky behavior is revealed.
