Unfortunately, Gackt's acting isn't very convincing, so instead of a guy who wants to romance the main character, we end up with the pervert of perverts. That's the impression he gave me. As long as he's not trying to trick the heroine somehow, his acting is watchable and falls into the average. Nothing that really knocks you on your ass. Although it might knock you on your ass to see how much makeup he wears, but that's not too uncommon for him, so his female fans will probably be happy. Kuroki Meisa, on the other hand, isn't even average. It was pure torture watching her trying to act. I don't know if it's because the heroine is too heavy a role for her or if she's just incompetent; regardless, it doesn't feel believable at all. At times she overacts so much that it's really unwatchable. Now I can only pray that the director got a lot more out of her in Lupin. So as for Time Spiral... the story may be interesting, but the acting pretty much sinks it. It feels very cheap. (21.11.2014)
