Lazar

Young Lazar is a member of a gang of smugglers that transports illegal migrants to Europe, and the pet of a local boss. However, upon meeting Katerina, his detached, practical attitude towards life and his existence on the other side of law and morals begins to change. Is a new beginning even possible at this stage, and what price would he have to pay? The modern thriller is set in today's Macedonia, a transitory country on the journey towards a better life. Offering a mélange of a realistic gangster film and a love story, it inspects the harsh details of Lazar's work as well as his mind, perched precariously between two provinces.
