"Nothing happened," Tina's father told her after he sexually molested her. Decades later her suppressed trauma remains deeply lodged in her memory. But when Tina learns that her teenage daughter Floh has also suffered abuse at the hands of her grandfather, the abuser finds himself in court. A reconstruction of an audio recording of the trial captures the buried memories of the cruelty experienced by the two women. Through interviews with Tina, director Helen Simon tells a story of intergenerational family trauma and cautions that we can lose everything we care about in the blink of an eye. (One World)
