South Korea shows that it has a strong film foundation and can make, basically, any movies it wants, as long as Koreans will go see them. And it looks like people from other parts of the world will go see them too. Fascinating, historical epic that is pathetic, but also can be properly bloody and gritty. Definitely above average.
