A live performance by the duo of Zbořil and Blažíček represents an extreme audiovisual experience. The riveting stream of movements and flashes testing the limits of human perception is created using electronic instruments, optical tools and computer algorithms for live editing. During their performances, the duo moves for calm meditation to ecstatic visual sculpture.
The visuals are inspired by the principles of the thaumatrope, a toy popular at the turn of the 18th and 18th centuries. Please note: the performance contains strong stroboscopic effects. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
