Australian tourist Kym chooses a place very different from popular destinations such as Fiji for her summer holidays. She decides to go on an adventure in a different exotic location and explore Bosnia and Herzegovina on her own. However, her perfect travels turn in uneasy directions when she gets better acquainted with her surroundings and its past. The film's director, Jasmila Zbanic, draws attention to conscious suppression and even complete denial of historical events related to war and political traumas. The past and its stories are omitted and the locations turn into mere attractions to enchant tourists. (Febiofest)
