A cheap Canadian torture-porn with too many annoying cows. I don’t know, I don’t care much for the representatives of this sub-genre, unless they are especially well made. They don’t scare me, they don’t entertain me, and in this particular case, it didn’t even unsettle me – everything is too fast, I couldn’t relate to the victims at all and the torture is rather lite. On the other hand, it has to be said that The Scarehouse does have some production values. In this sub-genre you can find worse.
