Icebound

Narrated by sir Patrick Stewart, Icebound tells the gripping story of Alaska's legendary "Race Against Death," an event that captured the world’s attention. It was winter, 1925. In the remote town of Nome, just 200 miles from Siberia, a deadly outbreak of diphtheria, was threatening the lives of children. The world held its breath, as 34 men, and 150 dogs, traversed 800 miles across frozen wilderness, to transport life-saving serum and save the town. Oscar-nominee Daniel Anker spent eight years tracking down the last surviving witnesses, and researching the truth about this near-mythic adventure story.
