Slink

"Slink" is amazingly representative - meaning bad - example of modern horror filmmaking. Nowadays, relatively accessible technologies allow practically anyone, who has willing friends, in this case mostly female friends, to stand behind the camera and make their own "film". Yes, there are elements of horror, but that does not mean that "Slink" is anything more than just a home video that could be played at parties. The creators lacked a sense for storytelling, for music, and ultimately for the scene and its composition and filming. (19.03.2014)
