A victory of form over content? Wonderfully filmed, badly acted and long-winded, underscored by the beautiful music of Kenji Kawai and a surprisingly good atmosphere. This was evidently low-budget, but maybe because of this the visuals have a certain charm. If Oshi had filmed it as an anime instead, it might have been better. This way give it a low 3/5.

"Deadly Avalon" didn't impress me in either form or content. It felt incredibly empty to me, with an emphasis on how it looks, but in reality, even the visual aspect is not great, just interesting. I'm not a big player, but I am not far from playing, yet this movie felt targeted towards someone completely different. I don't know who.
