Menestyneen kirjailijan Erica Falckin vanhemmat menehtyvät rajussa auto-onnettomuudessa. Muutaman kuukauden päästä Ericaan ottaa yhteyttä mies, joka väittää olevansa naisen velipuoli äidin puolelta. Erica ei usko miestä ja pyytää tätä poistumaan. Mies löytyy muutaman päivän päästä murhattuna, jolloin Erica alkaa tutkia äitinsä tavaroita. Hän huomaa heti, että äidin menneisyydessä oli synkkiä salaisuuksia. Joku tai jotkut haluavat pitää ne edelleen salassa. Erica sotkeutuu yhä syvemmälle salaisuuksien ja äkkikuoleman verkkoon. Already the trailer was pretty strange. But only after I saw the film did I realize that it is pretty much an average Scandinavian movie. But when it comes to the story, I wouldn’t say that there are no good ideas. Unfortunately, the execution was a lot worse. Especially the switching between the present and the past, which seemed as if they had been taken from two completely different movies. Another problem is that if you fail to make a connection with the characters within an hour, it’s hard to finish the movie with any kind of enthusiasm.
