Elliot Loves

Elliot is a cute, enthusiastic 21-year-old Latino guy looking for love in New York City. As he's unsuccessfully searching for a committed relationship in gay clubs, meeting men he falls in love with overnight, but getting his heart broken the morning after, the film flashes back to his chaotic childhood as a 9-year-old boy struggling to bond with his single mother, herself desperate for a partner. Writer/ director Terracino’s debut steers clear of passing judgements and instead offers a freshly unique character study, oozing with tenderness and optimism. (Febiofest)
