This movie will definitely get overshadowed by others and forgotten. That much I knew after I finished watching it. Nevertheless, I couldn’t imagine a better movie as a background to my Christmas cleaning. The story is quiet simple, funny at places, and when you watch the TV with one eye while using the other to pay attention to the floor you’re cleaning, it’s more than enough. It’d be also ideal for cooking. One eye on the TV, the other on the stove. That’s more than enough for me. Don’t go looking for a deeper message, but your spirits will be lifted. Definitely more than if you watched any of these Czech shows that are a dime a dozen on weekend TV.
